1. About these terms

These terms apply to all orders placed through the Siska's Biltong website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

2. Our products

We sell biltong and related food products. Product descriptions, weights and prices are shown on the website at the time of ordering. Occasionally an item may become unavailable after you order; if this happens we will contact you and offer a substitute, a refund, or a revised order.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable taxes. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout and are set out on our Delivery Information page. Payment is taken at the time of order through Mollie. We do not store your full payment card details.

4. Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, when we confirm your payment has been processed. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we are unable to verify payment.

5. Delivery

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are set out on our Delivery Information page. Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly, as we are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.

6. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, online purchases normally come with a 14-day right to cancel. However, our biltong products are perishable food items made to be consumed quickly, and this type of goods is exempt from the standard right of cancellation once your order has been despatched. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described — see Section 7 below.

7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible, and within 48 hours of delivery where practical given the perishable nature of the product, at howzit@siskasbiltong.co.uk . Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where goods are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality. This does not affect your other statutory rights.

8. Allergens and food information

Ingredients: Beef, Malt Vinegar (BARLEY), Coarse Sea Salt, Coriander Seeds, Black Pepper.

Allergy advice: For allergens, see ingredients in bold above. Contains barley (gluten).

Storage instructions: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, consume within 3 days.

Spices can occasionally change. Please check packaging or contact us at howzit@siskasbiltong.co.uk for the most up-to-date ingredient and allergen information.

9. Discount codes and subscriptions

Discount codes are subject to any conditions stated at the time they are issued and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. Subscription orders (2-week or 4-week delivery) can be managed or cancelled by contacting us at howzit@siskasbiltong.co.uk .

10. Our liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint about your order, please contact us first at howzit@siskasbiltong.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it promptly.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, or legal requirements. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
